We found this beautiful home via Remodelista and wanted to share it with you. Designed by Bruno Erpicum, this Belgium countryside home balances the perfect mix of rustic and modern.
One of our favorite aspects of the home is this steel and glass room which offers almost-panoramic views of the outdoors.
We love the exposed brick walls and pops of red!
Keeping decor simple really brings out the rest of the space.

I only have one question … how many birds have met their match in a fight with the glass planes ? This is not a rant. I’m just interested.
The interior is not really my thing, i usually prefer a concoction of metals and woods with more natural bends but still im godsmacked at how much personality it has. It sort of emanates a cosy conflict of diversity. The reason i bothered to click on this picture is purely because of its outstanding glass extension, I think Bruno Erpicum created a great little modern getaway where u can simply sit and admire the artwork and the scenery is a plus! One of my favourite themes is pod-like rooms and this seems to nail exactly what intrigues me about them, perhaps its there natural abilty to be detatched from the environment for example a seed pod enters a new environment by faling to the ground. And also lastly what i thought needed some praise is the crisp seperation of glass and rough stone-work, its awesome!!
Winter could last all year at this house and I wouldn’t mind. I wonder if the birds WOULD fight with the glass?
