Royal Ontario Museum Visit

We’ve been super busy this month working on our new shop website and doing some home improvements (which we’ll share shortly) but we wanted to stop in and share a visit we had last weekend to the Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto. We went specifically for the Teck Suite of Galleries housing one of the largest and best mineral collections in Canada. We love the overall layout of the exhibit and clean design of the museum. Each piece is carefully curated and you could spend the entire day just walking around and browsing.

If you’re ever in Toronto, we highly recommend checking the ROM out for yourself! So many things to see!

Lambi in Kattliv Magazine!

We were so excited when Swedish Kattliv Magazine contacted us about including our DIY cat bed in an upcoming issue!

The article was about combining cat beds in with your current decor, and they were nice enough to send us a copy of the issue. We loved the other pet beds and playgrounds as well, and wanted to share some ideas with everyone.

After browsing the issue, it made us want to create a little something else for our cat Lambi. We really loved the idea of the “cat tree” on the bottom left (our cat loves plants!) and the multi-tiered ledges look very modern as well! The whole issue gave us a lot of ideas…

It’s Canada Day here and we snapped a few pictures while up at our friends John and Juli from Mjolk’s beautiful cottage this weekend. We had a wonderful time in their newly renovated cottage where we spent most of our time chatting, barbecuing, reading and sipping on our new favorite drink: mojitos!
